A Slow Learner, but a Learner Still

Only so many dusks, only so many springs.

Only so many dusks, only so many springs.

It seems like just one post ago I was supposedly relearning that I will only get so many magic hours (dawn & dusk light) in my life, but just this afternoon I sat at my desk, trying to decide whether to haul a camera into the backyard or take off my shoes and lounge about the house.

I thought about how my sister and I talked about the last post, and how we felt bemused at our own stubborn refusal to learn from our mistakes of omission (Hers involved using proper backings on earrings; mine typically involve laziness). Fortunately, my shame reflex kicked in. I put the 70-200 on the D7100, walked outside, and was immediately treated to a hummingbird show.
