Fighting Myself

I’ve taken very few photos so far this month, and those I have taken leave me furiously dissatisfied. This weekend I shot a couple hundred frames while visiting San Diego, but most merely documented items in museums.  I think the shots below represent what’s happening to me right now. I’m looking for light that interests me at a time when very little in life interests me. And then, when I do capture something, I torture it, bending, twisting, pawing at the bars, so to speak.     it happens to all of us … these creative lapses … i turned to straight documentation of workers at our restoration for a bit … rest assured the edge will return
